Please read these Terms carefully before using ReceiveTmpSMS (the “Service”) at https://receive-temp-sms.com. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

• Service: the website, public number directories, and shared SMS inboxes operated as ReceiveTmpSMS.
• We / us: the operators of ReceiveTmpSMS.

Eligibility

You represent that you are at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). If you are under 18, you should use the Service only with parental or guardian guidance where required.

The Service

ReceiveTmpSMS provides access to shared public phone numbers and browser-based SMS inboxes for legitimate testing and low-stakes verification. You do not rent or own numbers. Inboxes are public. Availability, inventory, and delivery can change without notice. The Service receives inbound SMS only - no voice calls and no outbound SMS.

Your use is also subject to our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer.

Acceptable use

• Do not use the Service for fraud, harassment, spam, or illegal activity.
• Do not use public numbers for banking, recovery of important accounts, or sensitive data.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, attack, or abusively scrape the Service.
• Follow the terms of any third-party app or website you verify.
• Do not rely on public inboxes for confidential communications.

Accounts and purchases

Public inboxes do not require registration. ReceiveTmpSMS does not sell private number rentals on this site. If that changes, we will update these Terms.

Intellectual property

Site design, branding, and original content are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy the Service for competing commercial use without permission, except for ordinary browsing and fair use of publicly available pages.

Third-party links and ads

The Service may contain links or advertisements from third parties. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, products, or policies.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that SMS will arrive, that third parties will accept a number, that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that defects will be corrected.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ReceiveTmpSMS and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of public inboxes, failed verifications, third-party actions, or inability to use the Service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of amounts you paid us for the Service in the prior 12 months or USD 10.

Indemnification

You agree to defend and indemnify us against claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms or applicable law.

Termination

We may suspend or restrict access to the Service at any time for abuse, legal risk, or operational reasons. Provisions that by nature should survive (including disclaimers and liability limits) will survive.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in our operators’ principal place of business, excluding conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer protections in your country apply. You agree to first contact us to try to resolve disputes informally.

Changes

We may modify these Terms. Material changes will be indicated by updating the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
